What do these problems mean
to me?
Insufficient power supplies
- As you expand and upgrade your
computer, the demands on your
Power Supply increase. - The Power Supply is an important
factor to the life of your system - Spikes and surges in the Power
Supply can jeopardize your
system. - When your system is deprived of
a consistent stream of reliable
power it will be prone to random
hardware failures, bizarre errors
that you may never have seen
before.
Overcrowded cases
- Reduced airflow leading to
possible overheating (see "lack
of cooling") - More difficult to work on
- Harder to clean - you should
keep your computer as dust free
as possible. Yes that means
removing the side panel. But
dust on your PC components can
insulate them and lead to
overheating and ultimate
meltdown.
Inability to upgrade with standard
components
- You may be stuck buying a
higher priced component (Like
me when I wanted to replace my
power supply and had to get the
one from the manufacturer that
was low wattage because a
normal sized one wouldn't fit) - If you want to replace something
like a motherboard, you may end
up having to replace the whole
case (The "name" brand cases
are often too small for standard
size motherboards or they don't
mount properly) This will add an
extra $50 to $100 onto your bill.
Lack of cooling for your case and
components
- Overheating can lead to
equipment failure. - "Name" brand PC's usually only
have one case fan - Ventilation and cooling is
important to prolonging the life
of your PC and also improving
the speed and performance. - "Name" brand PC's don't tell you
what they use to cool your
system. This means that they can
cut their cost on cooling
components by using inferior
cooling components. You don't
really know what you are getting
as far as performance of your
case fans, power supply fans,
and most importantly your CPU
fan.
Lack of ability to upgrade your
components before you buy
- Although the "name" brand PC's
do come with some upgrade
options some important ones are
left out, such as power supply &
cooling components.
Lack of detailed specs on components
- You just don't know the wattage
or reliability rating of your power
supply - You just don't know what they
are using to cool your delicate
PC components
Why are these advantages
important?
Choose a stable power supply
- The Power Supply is an
important factor to the life of
your system - You can get a power supply that
will be more reliable - You can pick a power supply that
will have plenty of wattage to
handle your system and future
upgrades.
You can choose the case
- Choose a case that best suits
your style - Choose a case that has plenty of
space for your PC components
to breath and stay cool - Choose a case that has extra
fans for cooling your PC and
even LED fans if you want to add
a little high tech style to your PC
Universal parts to upgrade
- You will have a huge selection
of parts custom suited for your
personal tastes, and
performance requirements - You don't have to pay top dollar.
You control how much you
spend on parts based on the
quality you desire and NOT
because it's the only thing that
will fit in your "name" brand PC
Add extra cooling components
- Overheating can lead to
equipment failure. - Cooling is a VERY important
factor in the life of your PC - You can hand pick cooling
products from the case fans to
the CPU fan or even liquid
cooling components. - You will find a huge selection of
cooling components when you
build your PC and can find the
best solution according to how
much you're able to spend - You can choose the cooling
components based on customer
ratings and low noise levels
Components are hand picked for
quality
- You can carefully decide what
you want for your PC, based on
price, quality, customer ratings,
and desired performance - You can pick which components
are most important to you and
spend your money accordingly
Every component is picked based on
quality ratings
- We have done the research to
make the most informed
decision possible on every
component - You can be assured that you are
getting only quality parts in your
PC because we base decisions
on ratings and customer
satisfaction - The more reliable the individual

PC will last.
